How do I book?
Booking is simple; just send us an email or complete the form on the contact page so we can discuss the details of your photo booth hire. When we’ve confirmed your date is available, a small deposit of 25% of the total hire charge will secure your booking.
What colour are the booths?
Elegant white or stylish black. But it gets better! We can customise your photo booth with colour or graphics to match your event. Special monograms fit wonderfully into weddings and whilst corporate events benefit from integrated branding, or advertising products.
Do you supply props?
Snapcandy have a great selection of props for your guests to enjoy which are all included in the photo booth hire. If you have a special theme for your wedding or event you can even talk to us about tailoring the props to enhance this theme. Almost anything is possible and we like a challenge! Who looks after the Photo Booth?
The photo booth is accompanied by a member of the Snapcandy team to make sure everything runs smoothly and your guests have a great time. If you have a guestbook the attendant will take care of this too.
How many people can fit inside the Photo Booth?
Our full size oval photo booth comfortably holds 6-8 people. The childrens phot booth comfortably holds up to 4 children under the age of 10 (although we’ve squeezed in a few more and even the odd grown-up!).
How many photos are included?
Photo Booth visits and prints are unlimited. Some of our packages include double printing so that the wedding or event hosts have a copy to keep. Additionally, depending on the package you select we provide all the images on a USB flash drive so you can print and share your images any time after the event.
How big are the prints?
Prints are 6’’x4’’ and usually includes 4 pictures on one print. Various layouts and personalised prints are available including your own text/logo or monogram.
What is the quality of the prints?
With a background in professional wedding photography we have the knowledge and skills to produce photo booth images of outstanding quality in both print and digital format. We use a Canon SLR camera and studio quality lighting to capture your photo booth moments. You are also in complete control of your photos. If you take one you don’t like simply discard it and start again until you get the perfect pose!
Can we have images in colour and black & white?
Yes! The touchscreen gives guests the option to select black & white or colour photos.
Can our guests view the images after the event?
Depending on your hire package we provide all the photo booth images on a USB flash drive so you can print and share your images as often as you like. Additionally a selection of the best photographs from the event will be added to our Facebook page so that your guests can tag themselves and share online too.
Can we have our photo booth experience uploaded live to Facebook?
Live Facebook upload is available as an optional extra. This option means all images will be uploaded to your own designated Facebook page live, as your event happens. For our little ones’ protection, live Facebook upload is not available for kids parties. If you select this feature and you’re aware that there may be children using the full size photo booth at your event it is the responsibility of the event organiser to inform parents that the images are to be uploaded live.
What is Video Messaging?
Our photo booths offer video messaging which provide you with some fantastic memories from your wedding or special event. It’s really simple for your guests to select the option to record messages and really easy for them to switch back to the photograph option afterwards. If you’d like to upgrade, just ask us to include Video Messaging as part of your photo booth experience. A small additional charge will apply.
How much space is needed for the Photo Booth?
We require cubic space of 2.5M (L) x 1.5M (W) x 2.1M (H)
How long does the Photo Booth run for?
Minimum hire time for events with a full size photo booth is 3 hours. For kids parties the minimum hire is 2 hours with with additional time available in 30 minute increments.
The photo booth hire period is the length of time that the photo booth is available for guests to use. We’ll need additional time to set up and take down the photo booth; this is included free as part of our service.
How long does it take to set up the Photo Booth?
We like to allow 1.5 hours set up time although it is usually less.
Can the Photo Booth be set up earlier than the required time?
If you require the photo booth to be set up ahead of the booking time this can be done, an idle hours charge will apply.
Are you insured?
Yes, we carry Public Liability insurance to £1m.
My venue needs certificates for fire safety, can you provide these?
Yes, once you’ve arranged your photo booth hire with Snapcandy, we will liaise with your venue to ensure it has everything required before the event.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Secure your date with a non refundable deposit of 25% of the hire charge. Contact us to book
