When I arrived at Upper House Hayfield, at the foot of Kinder Scout I was mesmerised. Overlooking the Kinder Reservoir and nestled between the peaks, enveloped in Pine Forest it was the perfect spot for Nicola and Lee’s woodland themed wedding. The best was yet to come though. The house itself, already bursting with character, had been draped in woodland florals, designed to compliment their wedding by Red Floral Architecture, whose work I’ve admired and followed for some time and in our opinion are the best in the business. In the Great Hall there wasn’t an inch left untouched by their floral fantasies and candle light glowed from the hundreds of glass globes hanging from amongst the breathtaking ceiling display. If you’re planning a woodland themed wedding and are looking for inspiration and ideas then look no further. The whole day was captured by Shaun Taylor Photography who we’re sure will be posting photos very soon on www.shauntaylorphotography.co.uk.
Nicola and Lee had asked us for woodland themed props to compliment the theme and we’d also worked with them to design a print that would be just right, still tying into the theme but capturing the fun spirit of the evening celebrations!
Here are a selection of photos from Nicola & Lee’s Woodland themed wedding photo booth at Upper House Hayfield, starting with one of the set up in the Great Hall to give you a sense of the styling for the wedding and how the booth worked with this.
