How do I book?

Booking is simple; just send us an email or complete the form on the contact page so we can discuss the details of your photo booth hire. When we’ve confirmed your date is available, a small deposit of 25% of the total hire charge will secure your booking.

When do I need to pay my final balance?

We usually ask that your final invoice balance is paid 4 weeks ahead of your wedding or event. Our bank payment details can be found on your invoice along with your payment reference. If you are a corporate client we can vary our payment terms and work with your finance team to arrange payment once you have signed the hire agreement and sent a purchase order.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We ask that deposits and balances are paid by bank transfer where possible. We also accept payment by debit or credit card, please ask for details.

Do you supply props?

Snapcandy have a great selection of props for your guests to enjoy which are all included in the photo booth hire. If you have a special theme for your wedding or event you can even talk to us about tailoring the props to enhance this theme. Almost anything is possible and we like a challenge! Our standard ‘Wedding Selection’ includes a range of hand-picked props for your guests to use. You won’t find any floppy inflatables here! Contact us for more information.

Who looks after the Photo Booth?

The photo booth is accompanied by a member of the Snapcandy team to make sure everything runs smoothly and your guests have a great time. If you have a guestbook the attendant will take care of this too.

How many people can fit inside the Photo Booth?

Our Classic Booth comfortably holds 6people. If you’re booking a Pod you’ll generally find 10-12 people is the max although we have counted 15 heads in shot at one wedding! The beauty of the Pods is that people can easily jump in on the shots for perfect photo bomb moments!

How many photos are included?

Photo Booth visits and prints are unlimited. Some of our packages include double printing so that the wedding or event hosts have a copy to keep. Additionally we provide all the images on a Online Gallery so you can easily share and download your images.

How big are the prints?

Prints are 6’’x4’’ and usually includes 4 pictures on one print. Various layouts and personalised prints are available including your own text/logo or monogram.

What is the quality of the prints?

With a background in professional wedding photography we have the knowledge and skills to produce photo booth images of outstanding quality in both print and digital format. We use a Canon SLR camera and studio quality lighting to capture your photo booth moments. You are also in complete control of your photos. If you take one you don’t like simply discard it and start again until you get the perfect pose!

Can our guests view the images after the event?

We provide you with a fabulous Online Gallery and Snapcandy App so you can view, share and download your images easily. The gallery also gives visitors the option to order re-prints of their favourite photos which are printed at our partner Lab and shipped to any UK address.

Will you upload our photos to Facebook?

We believe it should be up to our clients to choose which photos to share and how to share them. The online gallery makes it super simple to share them with family, friends or colleagues. From time to time we may put one or two of our very favourite shots on our social media channels or website but you are always welcome to ask us to remove any photos you don’t want us to share.

Can you keep our photos and the details of our event completely private?

From time to time we are asked to keep a wedding or event completely under wraps. We’ve kept images out of public view for lots of people from Teachers, to government officials and global superstars! If this is important to you please talk to us ahead of the event. 

How much space is needed for the Photo Booth?

Our Pods & backdrops require a 2x2m wall space with the Pod then positioned 1.5 metres in front of the backdrop. For the Classic Booth we require cubic space of 2.5M (L) x 1.5M (W) x 2.1M (H) 

How long does the Photo Booth run for?

Minimum hire time with the Classic Booth is 3 hours. At selected venues in and around Derby we can also supply 2 hour hire on the Pods. Additional hire time is available per 30 minutes.

The photo booth hire period is the length of time that the photo booth is available for guests to use. We’ll need additional time to set up and take down the photo booth; this is included free as part of our service.

How long does it take to set up the Photo Booth?

We like to allow 1.5 hours set up time for the Classic Booth and 1 hour for any of our Pods; although it is usually less.

Can the Photo Booth be set up earlier than the required time?

If you require the photo booth to be set up ahead of the booking time this can be done, an idle hours charge will apply of £25 per hour.

Are you insured?

Yes, we carry Public Liability insurance to £5m.  

My venue needs certificates for fire safety, can you provide these?

Yes, once you’ve arranged your photo booth hire with Snapcandy, we will liaise with your venue to ensure it has everything required before the event.
